On 15th September 2025, the Deen Show Foundation embarked on a cash donation initiative for patients at Kanifing General Hospital.
Through this initiative, direct assistance was provided to people facing difficult circumstances.
In the Islamic perspective, visiting and supporting sick patients in the hospital is not merely a kindness, but a sacred act of worship (ʿIbādah) that draws divine mercy, unitizes the community, and grants seventy thousand angels praying for one’s forgiveness.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) shared a Hadith Qudsi where Allah says on the Day of Judgment:
O son of Adam, I fell ill and you did not visit Me.” The person will say: “O Lord, how could I visit You when You are the Lord of the worlds?” Allah will reply: “Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was sick and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you had visited him, you would have found Me with him?” (Sahih Muslim)
No Muslim visits a sick Muslim in the morning except that seventy thousand angels send blessings upon him until evening comes…” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi)
